Near Perfect Page Score & GTmetrix
I’ve revamped my WillTan.com once again. The previous revamp was only May last year.
And I’ve further pushed the page speed of this latest revamp to near perfect scores :
- Google Page Score : 98% (Desktop), 93% (Mobile)
- GTmetrix : A (99%)
- Pingdom : B (89%)
I’ll just go ahead to “summarise” the 2 key factors (or elements) on how I achieved such page speed results :
- GeneratePress theme – one of my top my preferred WordPress themes; I’m using one of the starter sites under GP Premium.
- SiteGround Optimizer plugin – this is a no brainer for me as it’s an in-house plugin and I’m on SiteGround cloud hosting; it replaced 4 other plugins I used before to optimise site speed – believe this is one huge reason why my site speed is now optimal.
Yeap, just these … no big secret … it just work right out of the box without much configurations.
Very happy with my current web visual appeal and site speed … super impressed by my own website, haha.
